After taking off Acrylic nails....how do you get your real nails back to ';normal';?

Unfortunately, the answers quoting 6 months are the truth. Since the nail that appears is actually already dead, there is nothing you can do except to use hand lotion regularly to at least keep your nails moisturized and flexible, and eat a balanced diet to give yourself the nutrients needed to produce healthy nails. 6 months is the average time that it takes for your nail to completely regrow, so that it will be all natural and healthy, and have the damaged portions grown out. After taking off Acrylic nails....how do you get your real nails back to ';normal';?
I cant stand that damage line that comes with acrylic nails, it takes a month or longer to grow out. I would start taking a good multivitamin, and use those strength and hardening polishes. I have a really skinny painful line on mine now near the cuticle, Makes me not want to do acrylics anymore! It depends on how well the acrylics were applied, and how they were removed. If the nails were overfiled at application and/or if the nails were pried off instead of soaked off it will take longer. In 6 months, your nails should have grown to new in any case.
use nail hardner. and then you just have to sit and wait. it took mine 6 months to be normal again.
takes time. use strengtheners to speed up process
take a plastic bowl, put a little bit of nail polish remover inside, and fill the bowl up 3/4 of the way with warm water. Then soak your fingers in the water for about 5 minutes. Then take the orange stick (the stick you get with the nails) and scrape off the glue gently.
