Is it hard to do your own Acrylic Nails?

What is the trick? Is it hard to do your own Acrylic Nails?
I always do my own acrylic nails. I buy all my primer, acrylic liquid, and powder from Sally's. If I'm tight on money I'll get the Kiss line from Wal-Mart. First I take a file and gently take the shine off of my natural nail. Then I apply the primer. Now apply the correct size tip and cut to desired length. Make sure that it covers from side-wall to side-wall of your nail. Next using a medium to small tip brush(it's easier than using the large one they use in the salon) dip the brush in the liquid fully then lightly drag across the powder, and lay it very close but not on top of your cuticle. Continue this process until the entire nail is covered and all ten nails are done. Take a coarse file and file over the top of the nail to make sure there aren't any lumps. File, buff, and polish. Is it hard to do your own Acrylic Nails?
it is very difficult... there is not trick to it.. if you`re not used to it..welll... lets just say that you might leave an opening on where the power is suppost to be and a couple of days later....... FUNGUS!!!!!!!... just get them done professionally.. about 20-25$. but worth it.. looks nice and clean... and no fungus( if the nail tech. knows how to do it right.) hehe... and also.. the way professional do it is much better than the way you do it.. it might not tuen out right when you do it.. but the most thing that i am afraid of is FUNGUS!!!!
It's is very difficult to do it yourself. Go to the oriental people OR to a salon that does nails. Go to an expert.
it is really hard its way better just to get them done at a nail salon
