What is the easiest way to take them off other than just pulling them off or letting them fall off?I just glued on some acrylic nails(bought and did them myself)...?
DO NOT SOAK THEM IN ACETONE!!!!! When you take acrylic nails off, your nails will be ruined a little bit already, and soaking them in acetone will only make it worse. Acetone is the worst thing you can do for your nails. Go to a drugstore or pharmacy, and buy an artificial nail remover soak. It will dissolve the nail, and the glue. And never try to pull them off, it will hurt and ruin your nails also, and it will leave glue stuck to your nail bed, that will last for weeks.I just glued on some acrylic nails(bought and did them myself)...?
Start by filing the nails down as much as possible, then file the actual face of the artificial nail so it is rough.





Then get a bowl of warm water (not boiling but hot), then fill a smaller (acetone friendly) bowl with acetone or nail polish remover with acetone in it and float this bowl in the bowl of warm water.





Soak your nails in the acetone in the smaller bowl for about 10 mins (the heat from the warm water will speed up the chemical process). Then remove and using a nail file gentle file away the acrylic/silk. If there is still lot of the product left on your nail soak your nails for a further 10 mins.





After you have removed all the artificial nail, wash your hands and apply lots of hand cream as acetone is very drying to the skin.
Soaking them in acetone is the quickest and easiest way. However if you don't have any acetone regular nail polish remover works as well it might just take a bit longer.
Get a bowl , and dip your hands into hot water ... that will probably loosen the glue a little ... Oh yea ; you can also dip your nails into nail polish remover =]
people recommend soaking in acetone. I just put some on, and 1 already fell off (its only been 1 hour!), so i wouldnt worry about that too much.
soak them in warm water for half an hour a few times today, it will break up the glue and it will be much easier for them to come off.
