Acetone. Get a bottle and soak them in it. It will take a while, but it works. How do you remove acrylic nails (solar nails) at home?
Soak them in acetone polish remover but best to leave to the professionals.
Walmart has a small bottle containing mostly acetone that you just put your finger in and they will loosen without damaging your cuticles.
Use pure acetone but put it in a metal bowl, it will eat away at a plastic bowl just like it ';eats'; away your nails. Now, my nail tech uses one bowl with acetone, then takes some warm/hot water and puts the bowl of acetone on top (like a dutch oven/how you melt chocolate) it speeds up the process. You may need to peel away some of the residue. Now, very important...IF it is not peeling off then soak some more this could take up to 10 - 15 minutes of soaking. If you peel them off you can remove your nature nail from the bed. It's painful and can take a long time to grow out properly. When you're done soaking in the acetone, take a cotton ball or Kleenex and pour some CLEAN acetone on it and wipe off the residue from the soaking. I'd also recommend some good lotion, acetone can dry out your skin.
You can also for a small fee go to a nail salon and they can do it for you. That takes the ';risk'; out of it and you'll probably spend more on the supplies to do it yourself, if it's a one-time-only thing.
Good luck!
pure acetone.
