Is is safe to apply my own acrylic nails?

like the ones that are sold at walmart and sally's beauty supply?i have never applied acrylic nails and i dont want to spend alot of money at a salon because i only need them for one night to look presebtable for my friend's 15 party:]Is is safe to apply my own acrylic nails?
You can do it yourself. But, be warned! You're in for alot of work if you don't have an electric nail grinder. ALOT of work. my advice would be to spend the $20. by the time you buy all the stuff you need and a nail grinder you will have spent that $$ anywayIs is safe to apply my own acrylic nails?
sure its safe. just don't (EVER) sand down your nail, trust me. just follow the directions execpt if you think it will harm your nail in the end. also, never rip the nails off if you decide you don't like them, this can seriously hurt your nail and cutical that can hurt your nail growth.to remove, soak in Nail polish remover or let them fall of natrally:) but have fun! happy birthday!!

I suggest you use Broadway nail brand:)
No it is not safe, i wore them for five years and my nails look perfect now but it was being done by a good professional,I've seen people with completely damage nails from one application. But for just one night you can get a regular manicure or buy those little french set that they sell at any drug store just have the glue in your bag in case of anything, you can never be to safe right.
