I had acrylics done at a shop a while ago and when I took them off my nails were really weak and brittle and I plan on getting them done again soon, is this a bad idea?Are Acrylic Nails Bad For Your Real Nails?
they are bad for your real nails, but if you plan on keeping them it will be fine. the acrylic nails are much stronger and less likely to break or peel then natural nails. however, if you don't plan on having acrylic nails long term, you are better off letting the damaged part grow out and leaving your natural nails alone. Hell yes! It's horrible. Acrylics tarnish the nail under, making it brittle extremely easy to break and full of ridges. I suggest just getting a manicure to whip your already hurting nails back in shape.
the first time that you put them on its okay and you say that they are not bad for you, but once you put them on often your nails get really ugly. i really dont know why, i guess its because they dont get enough oxygen.
no but before you get them on ask youre nail technichian to put on this stuff that protects youre real nails it costs a little more but its worth it cuz when you take of the acrylic nails off them and youre real nails will be the same length
Yes and so is regular finger nail polish so no matter what you use it can damage your nails so only wear them when you need them to prevent that=]] hope i helped?
yes!! fake nails are bad for your nails!!! they rip off layers of your nail and make it harder for your nail to grow later even when youve stopped wearing them.
yes they are because they make ur nails frail. they break very often and more easily.
