i got a set of pink and whites on sat and on sunday i noticed that they are already loose on the bottom of nail. Is this a default in the acrylics or my nail? I could probably pop them off with no problem right now. do i go back to the salon and show them??Acrylic nail qestions again?
When you say bottom, you mean near the cuticle? On a lot of the nails? Yes, there is something seriously wrong. I do see clients who are in a lot of water and some of them get lift by the end of the week. I use products that are more gentle to the nail and I don't file deeply when I prep so adhesion is a problem for the demanding (nail wise) clients and the very thin nails (usually separate at the edges), but even the worst nail abuser and the thinnest nails go about a week before they start to lift, and usually not at the cuticle.
Do show it to them right away, sometimes people simply try to get their money back and it is best to show them when it happens so they can see you are honest and it helps the manicurist (I've had it happen) know that they have a problem with a product. If you have never been to the manicurist before and don't know anything about that manicurist, you might be best off to try someone else.Acrylic nail qestions again?
i would go back, i have acrylic nails and i have never had this problem, it is a waste of money, plus tell the nail technician up front so when you go back for a fill, they make sure they do a good job next time or go somewhere else
Go back to the salon. Did they prime your nail? Did they make sure the cuticle was pushed back? All of this can make them lift. You pay good money for this service - have them redone. If not you could easily get water under and get a bad fungus.
