A good way to take off acrylic nails?

try using toenail clippers. i usually bite mine off but thats not a good idea.

Go to your local beauty supply shop and get pure acetone. Soak your nails for roughly 15 minutes and then peel them off with an orangewood stick. You're going to need a VERY good moisturizer for your hands because they'll be very dry....
buy pure acetone put it in a cup put ur nails in there and they should come of (its better if someone helps you) its PAINLESS..!!

Soak cotton ballin nail polish remover and place on the top part of nail[cuticle area]

They say the one thing to worry about when getting your nails done, is not a massage chair but the fumes that are in the nail salon, so you should make sure its not a stuffy salon, and is well ventalated. honey, at no time ever should anyone get acrylic nails.
It is not safe to have acrylic nails put on during pregnancy. The chemicals have not been proven safe... unless it is an odorless kind and pretty much no one carries the odorless because it is too expensive and they lift too easy. As far as a pedicure do not shave your legs 24 hours before getting a pedicure... if you must get one... not all places are clean... you need to make sure they use pipe less tubs, which means there are no pipes running from the wall to the back of the chair... I would also ask them to not run the jets because if not cleaned properly contaminated water from the previous pedicure can still be in the jets just waiting to burst out into the clean water they fill the tub with. Do not let them use any minty oils or lotions on you because these are considered ';invigorating'; and can cause contractions. Make sure that when you sit down that they open a sterilized plastic bag (should be sealed not a zip lock baggie that can be reused) and pull the nail clippers and ANY instruments the use on you from that bag. Do not let them massage the back of your ankles either... good luck and use common sense...

Don't just trust anyone to do them, find a girl that does them really well. Also, you have to have the money to maintain them regularly. If you get a kind that has natural shape or that looks like a normal nail the most people don't even notice that their fake.
It really does all depend on where you get them done. A professional salon should provide you with nails that look real and not cheap or trashy. So long as you make sure that they're not too long or gaudily painted, they should be fine.

Hi there, the best way to remove your acrylic nails is to have them removed professionally. They will charge you, but they should include a mini manicure and polish in the service which helps you adjust to not having hard acrylic on them.
If you cannot afford to have them removed by a professional, then you will need:
100% acetone. Take two bowls, one bowl smaller than the other. In the larger bowl put hot water in (not boiling and do not put your fingers directly into it!) and set the other smaller bowl inside. In the smaller bowl, put your acetone in with a few drops of nail oil, file the top of the nail first with a 100 grit file and soak your nails for about 15 minutes. Cover your hands with something like a towel or flannel because the
vapours do not smell nice!
After the 15 minutes, take your hands out and remove the softened acrylic with a tool. If you do not have a proper tool, you can use an orange stick covered in a lint free pad. Place your nails in again for another 10 - 15 minutes and most of the acrylic should have come off. Repeat if necessary. If you find there is still a little bit left on your nails,
you can file GENTLY with a 240 grit file. Once you have done, slather nail oil over them and rub in, keep applying the nail oil for at least a few days after removal, it is good to get into the habit of applying nail oil even when you do not have acrylics on as it nourishes the nails.
Please whatever you do DO NOT pop them off by sticking a thin nail file or other nail tool under them and wiggling it around!
DO NOT try to peel it off from the side of the nail with your teeth and when it comes up a bit try to stick your tongue in the nail and push it with your tongue.
DO NOT try to take them of with a screwdriver.
You WILL damage your natural nail probably forever!! And soaking them in warm water just won't work.
Acrylics themselves will not ruin your nails. It's all down to the application and removal procedures. When performed properly, you should not have weak, uneven and flimsy nails when you take them off (again depending on how they were applied). If you have had acrylics, even for a short period of time, it will take a few days to adjust to the fact you are back to your natural nails as acrylic is obviously a lot tougher than your own.How do i get my acrylic nails off?!?!?
