Buy odourless products or just wear a mask. Don't put air fresheners too close as this can change the chemical balance.Opening windows also does this.How do I get rid of or mask the smell of acrylic nails?
the smell with go away, open a window or two. always use in well vented area if you have a window fan face it outside to remove smells.

How to remove artificial acrylic nails?
i just got my nails done a few days ago at a salon and i have nooo idea how i should take them off.... when i used to get them done i used to just clip them off but the nail under that grew out would come off too... and when i tried acetone nail polish remover i soaked them in it for 45 minutes and they wouldnt budge.... can anyone help?!?!How to remove artificial acrylic nails?
Don鈥檛 ever try clipping the old acrylic nails. It can be quite painful and can cause damage. The best way is to use acetone and cuticle oil.
Here鈥檚 how it works
路Apply Vaseline on fingers and cuticles
路Take a bowl of acetone to soak your hands in it for a while. It鈥?better to use warm acetone than that at room temperature since it works faster on the nails. You can warm it by putting the acetone bowl in another bowl of hot water. Do not ever heat the acetone in a microwave or on the gas stove. Acetone is a highly inflammable chemical and can be quite hazardous.
路Cover the acetone bowl with a clean towel to avoid evaporation
路Keep the fingers in acetone for at least 15 minutes if it is warm and for about 30 minutes if it is at room temperature. Remember, the longer you keep it, the better since the acrylic will wear off easily and faster.
路Once the water becomes gummy, (which is the acrylic melting off), you can remove the rest of it by wiping it off with the towel dipped in acetone. Do not try to remove the acrylic before it is ready to peel off else it will begin to harden again and you will have to undergo the entire process again. Thats how u get them off, by using acetone, and yes they have to soak. Why are u taking them off so soon??

I normally get gel nails but im assuming the technique is the same- im not sure why soaking them does not work
id suggest going back to the salon and paying 10 bucks to get them removed but they are going to do it the same way you are trying.. they soak them then get them off

Just make sure about every 6 months you get them taken off and a new set put back on so your wont get an infection. Well, yes I have heard that they can permanetly damage you're nails. But, i've had them done before and yes they may damage you're nail a little. But as long as you pamper you're nails after they come off they should be fine.
I've gotten these b 4 and they may look cute but they don't just 'fall' off you have to pull them off and it can be not so nice for a feeling, plus when they come off they do take some of ur nail off, usually. I've gotten them and i was happy with them while i had them but they do make ur nails weaker till they grow back

If your real nails grow and are strong, just get a French manicure--no acrylic. If they are damaged anyway, why not cover them. When it becomes soft, gradually slide something thin between the nail and the acrylic tip lift up if its soft enough. Do that until you finally get the nail off.

it takes a while, but dip ur fingertips in ACCITONE nail polish remover and wipe and file as it comes off. it might take a couple hours but it works. otherwise go back to the nail place and have them do it. they will soak them in the accitone also but instead of just filing they will use the sander thing and file them smooth.
