How much do acrylic nails cost when you get them done?

Like the other people said, $30 or $40 to apply. They are very expensive to keep up as they need to be filled every two weeks. If not, they look awful. It is also very hard on your nails. If you put them on and then decide they are not for you, your nails look terrible when they take them off. Sorry to go on and on but I thought I would like them so I had them put on at Christmas. They looked beautiful for the first week. After that, they were a pain to keep up. Expensive and time consuming.How much do acrylic nails cost when you get them done?

Depends on where you go. In the bay area, I've seen them range from $18 to 65. Be sure they use clean and new utensils on your nails.

Well where i go they cost like 20 for a full set sometimes cheaper...it's only 30-40 dollars if u go to a upscale ritzy place, but sometimes going to the hood they do just as good of a job
The price can depend on where it is that you get them done. If you're having them put on for the first time, you're going to want to make sure that you go to a reputable nail salon (maybe ask friends, family), as they do a lot of filing on the nail. I've been to places where (because I was getting a good deal!), I practically had my nails torn apart! It was awful! You'll be looking at anything from $30 and up, but don't forget that it may cost anywhere around that price to have them filled each time they begin to grow out (the area around the cuticle will show the new nail growth which is lower than the acrylic glaze).

With acrylic nails, you have to be awfully careful. They look beautiful the first week or two, but then they look horrible and they damage your real nails. Did you know that when they put on acrylic nails, they take off the first layer of your real nail? So, when you try to take off the acrylic nails, it's painful. Even when you just break an acrylic nail when you have it on. Just thought I'd warn you, so you know what you're getting yourself into!


It depends. I've had mine done twice - The first time, I went to a really expensive place and it was $40, but they looked really pretty. The second time, I went to a place inside of Wal-Mart and had them done for $20. Keep in mind, once you get acrylic nails, you should get fill ins or you might as well just take them off.

they cost about 30-40 dollars but if you go to a hairdressing school they should offer them to you very cheaply and they willknow what theyare doing by the time the teacher tells them they have a client to work on!
